School Satisfaction Survey 2017

The Board of Trustees would like to thank everyone who completed the School Satisfaction survey last November.

We are pleased to see that a representative from a third of all families in the school responded, and this has given us great insight into how satisfied you are with Stanhope.  85% of you, the school whānau, are ‘Always’ or ‘Almost always’ satisfied with the quality of the school and would recommend it to friends and family. Most importantly, your children enjoy coming to school every day. Note that these results are very similar to those received in 2015 and 2013.

You gave us lots of open feedback that we are now working through, and this is being incorporated into our school charter for 2019. Together with student and teacher voice, we are looking forward to seeing what this looks like.

The timing of this survey, during the Yr8 camp and the National election, meant that it did not receive the best turnout. Our next Satisfaction survey, planned for Term 2 2019 will be in both digital and paper format - and we will try and do a better job of delivering this.

All of the results were very encouraging; however it is clear that a number of families do not have good awareness of some of the services offered by the school. We hope to improve the website and deliver better information about these.

(P.S. Please note that this post is not about the Principal Appointment survey - the results of which are being collated and will come out shortly)
